Quick Birthday

Chris turned 32 yesterday. We had to celebrate quick because we had tons of packing to do. We made yummy steaks and had Carrot Cake (his fave) for dessert. Trey loves the happy birthday song, he would just smile and try and sing along. I felt bad that we could not do something more special but Chris said, "As long as I am with my family I don't care how we celebrate." What a great guy huh? I am grateful for the wonderful husband I have and for the love he shows me and his boys. I love you hunny!

No More Waiting...

Chris is finally here! He got in early this morning today and was completely exhausted. He woke me with a big sweet hug and kiss, it was so nice to just be in his arms again. We embraced for a while and talked and then I got ready for Church. Chris wanted to go with but I told him to stay behind and get some rest. Trey was not awake yet and Chris was asleep by the time we headed off to Church so when Trey and I came home from our meetings he was really surprised to see his DADDY! He was really happy and with his big smile he said, "HI!" He then gave him a big hug and kiss. We had a nice meal together and it is just so wonderful to finally have him here with us. Trey thinks his Dad is a climbing gym so it has been fun to watch them play together all afternoon. I love my husband and my little boys so much. We have a crazy busy week ahead but there will be more details to come until then..... Life does not get any better than this!

get.2.gether

I had a doctors appointment last week in Logan, everything looks great. We have ourselves a healthy active wee one. I got together after with the Price Side Girls, Mama Beth, Courtney, and Ginger. We all met up at Mama B's house and chit-chatted for a while then we went out to eat at Chili's. It was fun seeing all the little ones together and to just see what every ones crazy lives have been up to. I had not seen Courtney and Miss Layna since Easter so we were in need of a reunion so to speak. It was quick but fun, I love my mother in law and my sister in laws I could not ask for better company!

Treyson's Artwork

This is one of those moments that you just have to laugh about...
It was a typical day with our normal routine, lunch at noon, 2 books, and then down for a nap by one. Trey is a great 3 hour napper and goes down pretty easy, he even usually says.."nigh night, bye", then muah and blows a kiss. Everything was normal and he did not make a sound so I just went about and did my normal duties while he napped. Well, when I went to get him from his nap I got a pretty big suprise...Trey's pack and play is right by a desk and somehow he got a marker out of the drawer and starting doing some "artwork!" Black marker everywhere, all over his legs, arms, face, blankets, pack and play, and even the desk too! He was happy and smiley as usual so I could not help but laugh my head off!
I asked him, "Did you have fun coloring?"
He said, "Yes!"
Then he gave me a great big hug...
I said, "Are you saying sorry?"
He said, "Yes," with a sigh.
Hilarious!!!
I pointed to his arms that he marked on and said, "uh oh!" He just laughed and gave me a cheesy grin.
I probably now will have to peak in on him to make sure he is not up to mischief. I also moved his bed away from the desk...haha who would of thought that he would know to get in there? What a little rascal!
He even put the maker back and kind of shut the drawer so I would not notice. LOL, he knew exactly what he was doing didn't he?
I gave him a bath, luckily it was not permanent marker. It did not come out all the way but I pretty sure with the next bath it will. Hopefully now I can get it out of his bed and off the desk.
After his bath I told him that coloring and markers were for paper not for his bed and to mark all over himself, he laughed and said "oootay!" I mean how can I honestly be mad at this little boy when he looks at me with that little cute face of his? I love this little man so much and these are the memories that will keep us laughing for years to come.
Another "Treyson-ism": While I was driving the other day I gave Trey a snack (pretzels and a peach.) He was content and then all of a sudden I start feeling pretzels hit my head and hear him laughing. I kept telling him to stop and he just kept laughing and throwing stuff everywhere and saying, "oooppaa and whoa!" It got really messy when he decided to start throwing chunks of the peach...haha! I finally got a chance to pull over and was trying not to bust out laughing or smile at him. He just kept laughing and laughing. I wanted to laugh because how do you not laugh at a situation like this, but I also wanted him to know that it was not right to throw his food. I cleaned up the mess and told him that he gets no more snacks while driving! Gotta love this kid!

The Countdown is on...

Chris only has 2 WEEKS LEFT! I am so excited! We have a lot to do when he arrives but I am just so happy! 2 weeks is going to go by so fast. He is working so hard and I support him every step of the way, but I know he can't wait to come home too. This means he will be home before his b-day...yahoo! I was looking through our photo's of when we were last together and it just made me miss him even more. Can't wait to see you babe, love you!
xoxoxox (Trey)
XOXOXOX(Your Wife)
One of Trey's favorite songs is "Popcorn." They sing it in nursery every Sunday and we have been teaching him the words and actions to it for FHE. It is the most precious thing in the world. His favorite part is "it wasn't really so!" He will go around the house just doing that part...haha what a cutie pie! What a joy it is to be his MOM!

Labor Day Weekend

Casey and Kimber came up for Labor Day weekend and so our family decided to head out to the Lake. It was a hot day, sometimes when the wind picked up it got a little cold but all in all a pretty nice day. Derek showed us his incredible back flip off the cliffs, Casey and Kimber jumped together, and even Miss Karlee jumped off the 5 footer. It took all her guts to even jump off and she was one upset little girl when it was all over...she said, "I hated it, it was the worst thing in the world and that I have ever done!" She cried and cried and we just comforted her and told her it was a very brave thing that she did. Trey on the other hand wanted to jump right in and we had to keep close watch on the little dare devil! There was a beach type area where the water was really shallow and Treyson loved it down there. Basically for 2 hours he just kept picking up rocks and throwing them into the water, he would even try and pick up really heavy ones and try to chuck them. He was fun to watch and by the end of the day his diaper hung down to his knees because it was so wet..haha! Dad C. went fishing but did not get anything, better luck next time;) We ate the lunches we packed out there and just had a great time laughing and visiting. We were all very tired, dirty, and wet and on the way home and Trey crashed within a couple seconds. We had a blast together and we were sure missing Chris, only 4 more weeks...yipee!

Happy Labor Day Everyone!

New September

It's a new month and alot of new things have taken place, first NEW AREA! Chris is doing the extended season with AMP Alarm in Fairfax Virgina. We decided it would be a great opportunity to make as much money as we can before we start school. He is living with a couple of guys but that OK because it is only for a month. I am really proud of him and his positive attitude to work hard for our family and not complain. He is very dedicated to his job and I know he just does it all for us, thank you babe! This will be his last summer EVER of doing this job again, selling alarms has been good to us but we are happy that we never have to do it again! Good luck hunny I know you will do awesome because you are awesome!

(2) NEW CAR!
We have been thinking about getting another car because we only have had one for a long time and with us having 2 babies and Chris in school all the time we felt that we needed to get another vehicle. We did not really know how we were going to do it all so we had just been praying that things would work out that we could get a decent car to last us through school for an affordable price. Well long story short we bought our manager Tyler's car. It is an Acura RSX 2002. It has been such a blessing to us because now Chris has a car out in his area and now can drive home. He gave us a great deal which we are truly thankful! It's a great car and we love it, thank you Tyler!

(3) NEW FLAT SCREEN!
Last Christmas we really wanted to get a new television but we did not really "need" one and so we put that money towards a Christmas jar for a family in need. Well, the coolest thing happened, Chris office in Philly were doing drawings and for every sell you got you got to put your name in for a prize and one of the prizes was a nice Phillips flat screen TV. We were actually hoping and praying to be drawn for it but really never thought it would happen. Well it did! Looks like waiting really paid off for us. WOOT WOOT!

(4) NEW P.J.'s!
I am all about comfort while I am pregnant and to tell you the truth I would rather wear pajamas any chance I get. I know they make you look fatter and that I look like white trash but seriously I just love everything about P.J.'s! I have been wanting to get a new pair but then my bro Derek was cleaning out his drawers and got rid of some of his P.J.'s bottoms so I decided to go "shopping" and pick out the ones I liked. I picked two pair, they are nice and big and so comfy! Thanks Der-Bear.

(5) NEW PERFUME!
OK Ladies everyone of you need this perfume, it smells so good! It's by Ed Hardy and is not extremely expensive. Its called "Love Kills Slowly." Chris got it for me and said it was a way belated b-day gift. I am not too keen on the way the bottle looks but it is so yummy smelling. It's pretty fruity yet...I don't really know how to explain it but it's awesome!

(6) NEW HOUSE!
This is where we are going to be living in Iowa. We are still in the process of closing and hopefully it goes pretty fast but we are so excited and love this place! It has 4 bedrooms, 1 and 3/4 bath, 2 1/2 car detach garage, fenced in backyard, the cutest kitchen and bathroom ever, all appliances are staying, and its in a good neighborhood. It has a basement but it is only partially finished but still usable which is nice. I just have to thank Travis and Crystal for helping us out on our house hunt, thank you so much guys! I also have to thank my Nan and Pops for their help and support and Dad Cutler for helping me understand everything that goes along with buying a house and the fine print. I can not explain how over excited I am, there will be more details so come.
I honestly owe everything "NEW" to my Heavenly Father. I have seriously been doing the happy cry so much lately because I am so thankful for all of my blessings. I know that sometimes the Lord does not give us things right away, he makes us wait for a time and then gives us our reward if we stay TRUE to the faith. I love the Gospel and my Savior Jesus Christ.
