I am a big boy

This is Treyson's new toy.  He loves it so much.  He gets on there and makes the car noise even though he is not quite tall enough to reach the floor and push it with his feet. It is helping his walking because he can push it around which helps him stay balanced and not fall.  It has trunk where he can put his other toys and he has fun putting them in and taking them out.

No more ba-ba! Just like breastfeeding Trey decided himself that he was done with the bottle. He was showing less and less interest in the bottle and started feeding them to Jax.  He still wanted one at his tired times which was morning and night.  I slowly cut to one bottle a day then I just gave him a sippy cup and he was just fine with it. To tell you the truth I was a little said when I packed up all of his bottles...haha!  I hope all my kids are that easy to wean.

My big boy seat is so much fun!!  He does not cry any more when he is in the car, we used to have to ride back there with him when he was in his old car seat because he would just scream and scream.  Now he can see us and he is as happy as can be.  He points out the window and says "ooo"! I cant to believe how big my little boy is getting.  I get excited when he hits more milestones but then again I get a little sad because its just going by way to fast.  He changes so much everyday it's fun to watch.  He is very independent and knows what he wants.  I am a MOM but it seems unreal that he is turning into a toddler.  I love my son so much he makes everyday an adventure.

Price Family Photo Shoot

Price Family 2009
It was time for a Price family picture! We just went to Kiddie Kandid in the mall because they print them for you that day. I don't know who was more difficult, the boys or the kids... haha! The boys hate taking pictures so they always try to make it as hard as possible.  Nevertheless, they turned out pretty good.
They refused to cooperate unless they got to take a funny picture.  There personality's really shine through in this photo.  You got to love these boys, they keep life interesting.
The Grand-kids!
Treyson, Layna, and Paisley!  They are so precious!
Little Princesses!
Layna is very motherly and loves to give Paisley hugs and kisses.  Its really cute to watch them together.
Our little family!
I just love my family so much, I am so grateful for a wonderful husband and a little boy who's cheesy smile makes my day.
Bill and Ginger's Family!
They are such a great family.  Tom and Courtney decided not to get individual  pictures because they just got family photos a couple months ago.
I am so grateful for my in-laws.
They are all so wonderful.

Sealing and Baby Blessing

Bill, Ginger and Paisley were sealed yesterday for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple.  It was such a beautiful day for them. Right when we got into the celestial room Chris said he thought of his Dad and Danny and knew they were there because he could feel how proud they were.  As the people filled the room you could feel the spirit getting stronger and stronger, even the sealer was crying because he said he could feel the spirit so strong. Brother Merrill, who also sealed us did a excellent job.  He reminded us of the lyrics from "I am a child of God" and when they brought in little Paisley the words rang true to your soul..."lead me, guide me, walk beside me, help me find the way...." It was truly amazing!
After the Sealing we went to Mama Beth's Church in River Heights to bless Paisley.  Bill did an awesome job and he even got her name right!!! He calls her Helga all the time so everyone was worried he would slip up.  Paisley was a little angle, all dressed in white, with her big puffy dress and earrings.  She is so CUTE and sweet, she hardly cried the whole day.
Trey was really good even though he wanted to stand in the circle with the boys when they were blessing his little cousin.  Trey likes Paisley, he always points and smiles at her.  Erin and Kenny watched him for us during the sealing, thanks guys!!
I just have to say that I have one of the greatest  sister in laws.  She is so strong and steadfast in her faith in Christ.  She is talented musically and brings the spirit every times she plays.  I love our "girl talks", yes we are married to Price Boys which call for lots of good stories to share with each other.  You just got to love this girl!!!  I am so thankful she is apart of our wonderful family.
There was a luncheon after the blessing and we had burritos with rice and chips and salsa.  It was yummy.  I sat by my other sister in law Courtney.  It was fun to chit-chat about life in general and of course our wonderful children.  Love ya Court!
We are so thankful that we got to be apart of such a special day in Bill and Ginger's life.  They have wanted it for so long and it finally happened.  We are so proud of them and are so happy that they are now an Eternal Family!  "Whatsoever shall be bound on earth shall be bound in Heaven."  What a blessed-ed day, the angles sang a sweet song of gratitude and love! Congratulations Bill and Ginger this day will always be remembered.

The 44th President

Well it is official that Barack Obama is our President.  Everyone knows how the Price's feel about him but nevertheless we support him.  We hope and pray for him that he can do good for this great Nation.  His wife which is now the First Lady looked absolutely stunning, she has awesome fashionable taste.
We want to give a hard salute to President Bush, I know most of you probably hate him but our family has a lot of respect and love for him.  Were not saying he has been the best at everything and he did make some serious mistakes but he is a great man who loved our country.  He supported the troops and loved them dearly, we know this because we had a personal experience with a dear friend that died over in Iraq...what Bush did for their family was amazing!  We hate the media and believe they did not give Bush the credit he deserved because he did have one of the hardest Presidency's.  Coming from a very Military family and being married to a veteran, we are always on top of politics and what is going on on with our country which I am truly grateful.
We are very excited for the country and the African American race.  This is a historical time for the Nation and its already bringing us together.  Obama also has a lot on his plate but we have faith in him.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

"New Do" for Jax

Hilarious!!!! We thought it would be fun to try a different look for Jax!  What do you think?

He totally did not even care, we could have left it in all day!  He is seriously the best dog anyone could ever have.  We are still working on his excitement when others are around but other then that he is the cuddliest, playful, smartest dog.  All we ever wanted was a dog that would be great with our kids and we for sure got one of those.  He is awesome with Trey, he pokes him in the eye, pulls his tail, jumps on him, plays with his ears and mouth, you name is he does it.  Jax never does anything but lick him, he never snarls or even gets mad.  We are way lucky that he soo good with him. Jax just makes life fun and the love an dog can give a child is so priceless.

OUR WELLNESS GIFT

Hey Everyone this is Chris writing. I am not really good at this whole blogging thing so stick with me.  I am only doing this because I feel this is important to share.  I wanted to start off by saying hello to everyone and hope you all had a great 2009.  I am proud to say that my family and I have a Certified Wellness Home! Two months ago we were invited to a Wellness Seminar, health has always been a hug part of my life so I am always looking for ways to improve it so we were interested in attending. That night we introduced some wellness home magnetic technologies that in my opinion were absolutely brilliant!  We decided that we were going to go ahead and try some of these things and see if they could help our family.

Treyson had suffered from a sinus infection since birth, he had trouble breathing and would fight us to go to sleep every night.  He had NEVER slept thorough the night, waking my poor wife up about 3-4 times throwing up just mucous and screaming like he was so scared.  We would take him to the doctor trying all different kinds of antibiotics, homeopathic, you name it we tried it. Nothing worked and he would just get sicker and sicker, ear infections, loosing weight, high fever!!!  The doctor told us that everything would be fine and if we had to result to surgery we would!  We were sick of the doctors since they really did not find out what was wrong with him until the 10th time we were in and they just acted like it was not a big deal when it really was. You all know  it is hard to watch anyone suffer let alone your own child and we knew we did not want to have surgery.  We were praying for a miracle!!!

Through all of this my great wife developed insomnia because of having so many long nights with Treyson.  She would literally just crash around three or four o'clock so exhausted that she could do no more.  She knew she still had many hours left in the day so she would just carry on and just thought this is what being a Mom meant...being tired all the time!  Also, if any of you know my sweet wife you know she has severe cold sore break-outs which would leave her miserable for a week at a time. She would never complain just deal with them as they would come every month, sometimes even up into the double digits!  No cream or pill ever helped except with the pain.  I felt so helpless that there was nothing I could do for her but be there to encourage her.

As for me, I had tons of stomach and acid reflux problems from serving my mission in Brazil and getting really sick.  My ears used to constantly hurt and I was stuffed up nine months out of the year because of my allergies.   I just dealt with it and did not worry.  I just thought this was just another thing and that everyone has these type of problems.

So your are probably wondering what a Wellness Home is?, or what are Wellness Home Technologies? I will give you a small overview.

O-Oxygen, we all know that we need air to breath.  The quality of air we breath in has a direct affect on our health. The air in our homes are 10 times worse then the air outside.

W- Water, Many of us are dehydrated and we don't know it, more then half of our bodies are made up of water.  How clean is our public water systems?!? Just for fun check your water report and see what it says.

N- Nutrition, How many people eat a balanced diet? The fruit and vegetables we consume don't have the nutritional value they did when Mom and Dad had their farms due to modern methods of farming and preservatives used for transporting.

E-Exercise and Energy, We all know we need exercise but do we have the energy to get up and actually do it?  This is one of the common reasons why people do not have exercise apart of their lives.

R- Rest and Rejuvenation, The most under-valued key to a healthy living is a GOOD nights rest. What I mean by GOOD is getting into the deeper levels of sleep.  The only time your body burns fat or heals its self is when you are resting in the good levels of sleep.

S-Self, You have to take care of your self before you try and take care of anyone else or help others.  You are important enough and worth it!

Notice the letters spell out OWNERS!  The Nikken Wellness Home is focused on giving ordinary people the extraordinary powers to be OWNERS of their own health.  Everything you read above is all in the past.  We no long have any of those difficulties anymore.  Our prayers were answered and we could not be more thankful.  Everyone deserves a Wellness home and needs to have one.  We really do feel that we do have ownership over our own health and it's the best feeling! Good bye sick system hello Wellness system!

Since we have had the Wellness home we have seen so many peoples lives change. These technologies have helped people with anything you can think of from little things like headaches to big diseases like cancer.  I found this company unique in its approach helping others with their health care needs so I decided to be a partner with the company!  So far it has been so very good experience with the people I have been able to help.  I could go on for hours but I won't because this is already to long.

If you want a little bit more information or would like to go to a Wellness Seminar here or in your area just leave me a comment.  Under favorites there is link to the Nikken site where you can find more details as well.

Healthy Regards, Chris and Family

Over The Break

We wish the break would not have ended.  It went by to fast! We got to visit with friends and loved ones which was so awesome.  It was so nice just to relax and have a break from everything.  Mom C. took Treyson for us so we could have some time to ourselves and she even let us sleep in a couple of mornings! We even took a break from working out, well only a couple of days but still it was good just to have a break!
My wonderful "CC"! I love this girl! Careea Collins, hence why I call her "CC"! We have been great friends for a long time now. She has been there through everything and was in my wedding. We were friends all through high school and cheered together for a couple of years.  We also went to beauty school together which we have so many good funny memories from.  Coaching cheerleading together for 2 years was absolutely a BLAST!
We had so much fun visiting.  We mostly just caught each other up on what going on in our crazy lives!  We chit-chatted about just everything, you know that's what girls do best.  I miss her and wish we could see each other more.  I really miss just dancing with her, I don't mean to brag but we were just plain AWESOME together!  Our choreographing minds just exploded when we were together...I guess "our rhythm was just on count"!!  We always said one of our dreams was to open up our own dance studio, hey a girl can dream right?
On the Sabbath we went and ate dinner with the Rollin's.  Roberta is an amazing cook so when they offered I was really excited to eat her yummy food and visit with them.  Chris really likes Dennis because he also went to Brazil on his mission, they love to speak Portuguese so we cant understand!  I lived with them the year before I started college. They are such a sweet family and I am so grateful for the time I got to live with them. They taught me a lot about service and how "when you are in the service of your fellow beings your are in the service of your God."  When I left for college Roberta told me to "play it forward", to keep the service going.  They helped me so much and I just have to remember to keep it going, if anyone ever needed my help I would remember to "play it forward", and I would not hesitate to give my service.
We also got to visit with the Castillon family.  Their little boys were so cute! Travis was the one who baptised me.  He is such a great person and his family helped me in so many ways and now he has his own little cute family which is crazy! Time flies!  It was a short visit but it was sweet and so nice to see them.
Oh the Killpack family!  Ha ha! They are a riot! We have so many laughs with these guys. Joe was one of the ones who helped me in my quest to find the Gospel Truth and Jared and I were cheer partners.  Their wives are so cute and nice and Joe even has a little baby now! WOW! His little guy is so cute, they named him Jacksen and he is only about 2 months old.  Of course the husband's watched football while the wives just visited.  We had a good time.
Of course I had to visit my "salon moms."  I would have been shot to death if I did not go visit them...haha! I worked at Sharon's Salon for about 2 years.  It was a wonderful time in my life and I loved all the women I worked with. Oh yes and I can't forget about Dano! He unfortunately was not there that weekend.
My good friend Bridgette from high school had her bridal shower the weekend I was there. I had not seen her in a really long time so I was really excited to go. I was really thrilled when I saw more of my old time friends showing up.  It's great to catch up and see how every ones happiness is going.  It's so nice when you see your old friends doing well with their lives.  The shower was fun, we had a pampered chef show and some games.  I was they picked to create our own "wedding dress"! That night was "Ladies Night" so I went out with them.  We had a fabulous time together!

Last but no least...The last night we were there Karlee decided to build a Castle Prison.  Treyson thought it was the coolest thing!  She actually did a great job.  She has such a creative mind and just a sweet fun little princess. Chris was the Prisoner King for apart of the game, he almost got stuck in there because he had a had time getting out...haha!
We had a great break, we could not have asked for a more fun filled adventure!

Playing Ball

So have I mentioned that Treyson loves balls?  He loves any kind really but he like the big ones because I think its more of a challenge for him and he already has that type of personality like his Daddy.  He now says 2 words.....whoa and ball!  After I feed him in the morning he asks me where his ball is, he says...."ball" "ball" and points to his toy box.  Chris and I enjoy playing with him he just laughs and claps and throws his hands in the air and screams!!

Der and Trey

Who would have thought that one little boy could bring so much fun into fun into your life?  I would have never thought that I would get that excited about him playing with a basketball...haha! He is just such a joy and I figure he will play some sort of sport when he gets older because of his love for balls.
