Remembering A Birthday

Today is my Mom's 50th Birthday!
Some of you know that she has passed away so I just wanted to write a little about her on her special day.   My Mama had a smile from ear to ear, they called her the "Cheshire Cat." When she walked into a room she lit it up and people always looked twice because she was so gorgeous.  I remember how she would always wear candy apple red lipstick and there are not many women that could pull that off but she did and she did it well. She also always smelt good, you could smell her coming from a mile way. She was always laughing and thinking of some silly joke to say.  She had a heart of GOLD and was not only beautiful on the outside but on the inside too.
(Marion Maria Galea 1958-2002)
I love these 2 photos because we look like twins.  People would always say "you look so much like your mother!" I never thought so until I got a little older.
My mind takes me back to when I was little and always wanted to be carried by her.  She would always say to me, "give me some sugar," which meant kisses!  Her kisses were extremely wet  and I remember always wiping them off and when I look back now I wish I hadn't because I really miss them now!  She had a habit of playing with ears.....some of you don't know but I have one ear different then the other and I really feel its because my Mom played with my one ear so much as a little girl and even into my later years.  Her signature is on me for good!! Ha Ha!
This is my favorite photo of when we all were little with her.  Smiley family that was us!  She had a route to your heart and I cant help but remember her warm hugs and how sometimes I just wish for one more hug!
This is a picture of all of my Moms kids....  Kirby, Kody, Me and Garrett.  This is the only picture that we have of all of us together.
I reminisce about the day it all happened, the day when I was told that she is gone.  I felt the clog start to develop in my throat as I tried to fight back the tears but the pain is too much and I felt as if I couldn't breath. My voice became crackled only to say..."NO" as I placed my hands over my face. The tears began to stream down my face until I could not cry anymore, and there were many nights where I would cry myself to sleep.  There are still days that are hard when I smell or see something that reminds me of her, my eyes get shiny as the memories come back and then I sniffle it away as if nothing happened.  There is not a day goes by that I don't think of her some days are better than others but I still miss her!  There are angels in heaven and my Mama is one of them.  "Let not your hearts be troubled; for in my Father’s house are MANY mansions, and I have prepared a place for you."  I KNOW that I will be with her again and I look forward to the reunion.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA
I LOVE YOU!

Pumpkin FUN.....

Last week Chris's brother Tom and his family came up to go the Pumpkin walk but it was not opened yet so we ended up just carving pumpkins. It was a hoot! The kiddos had so much fun. Layna is a little girly girl did not like the goop very well but Trey thought it was fun...go figure! They had fun making a mess of things.
Later that week the Pumpkin Walk finally opened so we decided to go. It was really cold but it was so NEAT! The theme was Hero's and all of them were so cool and plus it is FREE. It was a great family Saturday activity. The pumpkin walk was been a big tradition in Logan for quite some time and a great one for that matter! I just took pictures of our favorites. Trey enjoyed looking at all the pumpkins but we tried to keep him bundled most of the time. After that we went and god hot coco...yummy! We are looking forward to Halloween!

Cute Things I do

Treyson LOVES the Shower, if Chris or I are showering he cries if he is not in there with us because he just loves the water. When he hears the shower starting he hurries and crawls up on the bath like you see here in the photo.

Of course he ends up soaked because he played in the water while one of us was showering. It seriously so cute considering he did not love his bath until he was about 3 months old.
We end up just running a bath for him so he can splash all he wants.

Here is a cute video of him. I swear Trey's first word was "whoa." Every time he would throw something we would say to him "whoa man" and I think that is where he picked it up. I am trying to get him to say it in this video but not sure if he does. He loves to play with any kind of ball and throw it back and forth. What a cutie!

It's crazy because as a Mom I get so excited about every little thing he does! Its so fun to watch him grow up!

Voted!!

So I voted! All of you know from my previous post who I voted for. Its getting so close! I get more and more nervous each day. Whoever the President maybe I will support them but deep down inside I am hoping for McCain and Palin. I have been listening to the debates, doing my own research, and praying for a good outcome whoever the candidate may be. I am not going to get into politics even though I love to talk about them. I have a deep passion for this country, what we stand for, and how we became the greatest nation. Yes it may sound cheesy but I am proud to be an American and every time I place my hand over my heart for the National Anthem I always think about our troops or the previous wars fought in our behalf, how grateful we all must be and how truly thankful I am. SO GO VOTE!
PS. Gotta love the picture, Trey thought the stickers were fun!

APX Party

This past Saturday was our company's party. You could invite friends and family so Casey came with us. It was a blast. We went out to eat with our friend Barron's office at the Pizza Factory then we headed to Springville to drop Treyson off at Grandpa C's so Kayli could watch him....Thank so much Kayli!!! We had to be registered for prizes by 6:30 so we hurried to the Mckay Center. When we arrived we got name tags and wristbands and then we were seated. There were so many people there. We won an i-pod docking station with awesome speakers. Chris was able to participate in the game "deal or no deal" but did not bid the right number to play even though it was cool when he name was called....waahoooo!!! If he would of guessed right then we would have won a new car or 10,000 dollars cash, they were counting the hundred dollar bills as they played it was CRAZY;) They had some trampoline stuntmen give us a big show which was awesome to watch. This year they brought in some customers who were sold alarm systems for there testimonials, it was seriously amazing to hear their stories and see how the system really helped their family. Chris has always said, "If I am going to knock doors all day in the rain, hot blistering sun, or whatever the weather may be I might as well be with the best company who is going to pay me the most." We realized and are so grateful for this company and what it stands for, it really is about Protecting Family's and not just all about the money. This past summer APX has protected about 200,000 homes....isn't that great!?!?! We did double what we did last year and will always continue to deliver because of the great training and service that we give our customers. APX is the #1 door to door company and the numbers prove it. It started out as a small Pest Control Company and then they realized there was no money or customer satisfaction in Pest and that security is where its at!! The company now is soaring and will continue to do so. They also spoke to us about the trying times we are in and about to face, how we should feel so grateful that we even have a job, a job that pays very very well, and with the economy the way it is there is no need to worry with APX Alarm.
APX also had a Halloween costume contest. This is Eric from our ward he look so great. His mask was done with clay and he looked exactly like the GEICO cave man. "Selling alarm systems, so easy a cave man can do it." He did not win but came close. The costume that won was a person dressed up a door and had a quotation that said, "that's OK you would not of qualified anyways!" You have to understand why that is FUNNY meaning you have bad credit, or when someone slams the door in your face for no reason that is probably the saying you would use. Chris says you have to be in sales to understand it.
WHAT A BLAST!!
We were all looking forward to the famous balloon drop where they have thousands of dollars in balloons and they drop them at the end and then everyone fights for the money. Instead this year they donated all the money to hurricane relief, with that money APX was able to help 76 families.....how WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Again, we feel so privileged to be associated with a company as APX Alarm.
We look forward to next summer.

It's no fun to be sick

It was so weird I got sick this week.....Monday I had a great work out and I felt fine, that night my stomach started to hurt extremely bad and I thought it might be cramps but it wasn't. The pain was so excruciating I could barely move. The funny thing was that I was not vomiting but my throat and ear hurt. For 2 days I was miserable only being able to eat saltines and drink sprite and other fluids. OK, all of you Moms know that it really is no fun being sick when you have a baby to attend to.
So I have to brag about my husband for a little bit. He was rubbing my feet to make me feel better and this is not just the sick treatment, I get one of these every night!!! He honestly dropped everything to take care of me, he played Mr. Mom and House Wife, and he never complained one time. He is such a sweet-heart and I love him HEAPS!!

Some of you must know how Chris and I are into the natural and homeopathic medicines. We usually buy different herbs and make our own. Yes we make our own drugs and guess what THEY WORK!! We did lots of muscles testing to figure about what special herbs I needed and by the end of the week I was feeling 100 times better, still a little sore throat and ear but I was able to at least function. I am grateful for the knowledge and intuition of my Husband and his Mother. The human body is amazing and it knows what it needs.

I just also want to clarify that we are not totally one side even though we believe the natural way to heal is better. Yes we still take over the counter medicines as well and we do go to the doctor, yet we always try this first and majority of the time it always delivers results.

New Members of Our Family

Please meet.....
Nimo, Ziek, and Biggs!
My Brother Kode let us have his old fish tank. Its a 55 gallon. We just got some new fish. We have a South American Parrot who is Nimo, a Jack Dempsey who is Ziek and a Black Oscar who is Biggs. When starting a take you can only get three fish a week so there will be more to come.
Trey love to look at them. He always says.."ooo" when they decide to come out... the fish are still getting used to us so they get scared when we come right up to the tank.

I am 10 months old today

We can not believe its been 10 months, time has seriously gone by way to fast. We have enjoyed every precious, sometimes crazy moments of parenthood. Treyson has been such a bright light in our family. His smile makes it worth all the hard times. We love our Son so much.
This is one of Trey's favorite faces he does and he says
"ooo" "ooo" when he see something he wants.
Always laughing and smiling, we could not ask for a happier baby.
We get comments wherever we go on how we are so
lucky to have a smiley happy boy.
He has almost grown out of his car seat, he is so tall for his age.
He's as tall as some one years old Ive seen and we know that
he does not get that trait from me!!

Walking soon!!! He can stand on his own for a couple of seconds, and he walking along things pretty well. This is one of the few pictures you will see of him crying, yet it is so cute what he does because he does the biggest pout lip first then lets out a big yell. It melts your heart.
He gives us the "huh" face, such a personality and always knows what he wants.
His new thing is to suck on his first 2 fingers, he will do it for hours.
Yes like I said standing up on everything, and there is always a mess to clean up.
Trey and Jax are best buds, he loves to roll, and bounce all over him and Jax just takes it like a great dog.
Love, Love, Loves his Daddy! And Mr. Happy go lucky again.
This is his new high chair thing that Nanny got him, he loves it because he is at our level and eats at the table like a big boy.
Have you ever seen such a delightful, adorable child? I know I am bias but he is so much fun. He only says Ma-Ma when he is really tired and says Da-Da the rest of the day. He says Do-Do which means dog and he waves bye bye with his hand the opposite direction. He gives kisses back with his mouth open and hugs by putting his head on your shoulder. This is such a fun age and we are enjoying every minuet of it.
