Celebrating

We celebrated Chris birthday twice this year. The 28th is Cody's b-day and Chris's is the 29th so since the family was up we decided to celebrate it together. Camille made a great cake and we also ate yummy hawaiian haystacks. It was fun and great to have all the family around for the birthdays.

Chris definitely got what he wanted for his birthday this year. He got the Star Wars video game, a sushi set for when we get take out, and the famous body bug he has been wanting forever.
I went and got take out sushi because he was dieing to try out his new set. Chris is not that big
on cake so I just went and got him and ice-cream
cake from cold stone...
yummy!!! We had 3 big candles that represented 10 years and one little one that just represented 1 year because we could not fit that many candles on that cake. we got a late start on the celebration because we volunteered at the old folks home to do a family home evening for them. It was so worth it and and Chris said that he would do that on his birthday any day! It was so neat to see these wise old folks with strong testimonies of the Gospel and to hear their stories. Chris also had a paper due the next day so we had to celebrate fast. It was really fun and Trey was more excited then Chris and I put together. Happy B-day again Biggs!

Happy Birthday My Love

So its my wubers birthday today and he is 31! I know I can't believe it. He says he feels like he is in his early twenties which he looks like too! They say you are as old as you act so I think he is really in his early twenties. Just wanted everyone to know how much I love him and how is really the best husband and father.

I just wanted to share some corky things about my husband because there is more then 10 reasons why I adore him.
1. He has to spend 3 hours at the gym ever day.
2. He never lets me make the bed because he likes to tuck his toes around the blanket and he says he can't do that if its made.
3. He always wants to drive or push the cart or the stroller.
4. He cant say no to peanut butter, popcorn, and ice cream. Oh yes and he hates chocolate and when he is done eating a good meal he always pats his stomach.
5. He is not a multitask-er.
6. He is as blind as a bat and its so funny to watch him without his glasses or contacts.
7. He is in love with Gold Bond, puts deodorant on his chest, and shaves is entire body.
8. He has to have music playing when he is studying.
9. He does not like to be late even though we are half the time.
10. He thinks cats are for road kill.
Chris and I have secret codes and messages we give each other for
I love you
I love you more
So what
I want you
Or if someone else is being rude or doing something not cool.
If I told you them I wold have to kill ya...haha!!
It a fun cute way to just know everyday how much we care about each other.
He is my better half and I am who I am today because of him. I love you Wubby!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

"My name is Emma"

Our Enrichment this month was so wonderful. It was a presentation about the life of Emma Smith. Sister Lish did a marvelous job and the music was wonderful. Sister Lish played and spoke as if she was really Emma. She even wore her hair and dressed like her. It was remarkable to gain a greater knowledge about her and all of the things she endured. What a strong women! If all of us women could be a little like her.....;) The spirit was present and I don't think there was one dry eye in the congregation. I learned so much that its just too much to write. I have a greater love and respect for her then I ever have had. I am grateful for women like her to set an example for us follow. I am thankful for enrichment and that we can gather together as friends to be uplifted and edified. I love the sisters in my ward, they are so amazing.

Family Heritage

Last weekend Mama Beth called a family meeting. It was very special. She spoke of both of her parents who have now both passed away and the legacy they left behind. Beth's maiden name is Bott which that is where Chris gets his middle name. I am lucky enough that I got to meet both Grandpa and Grandpa Bott. They were the most wonderful people. They had to sell their farm and   Grandpa Bott became head custodian at Box Elder High School and Grandma Bott was a stay at home mom.  They had 8 children and raised them on faith and love.  Grandpa lived to a ripe old age of 96 and grandma passed away this last May at 87.  When they both passed they left a trust for their family.  Each one of their Children was given about twelve thousand dollars!! Beth was in tears telling us how she did not know how they saved that much
money for each child.  Grandma and Grandpa Bott were never the richest people and always lived with in their means.  Grandpa was a hard and dedicated worker and worked up until the day his legs would not let him any more.  Beth gave us each a little part of the money she was given and told us that whatever we chose to spend it on that we would think where it came from.  How amazing!  Beth is going to have enough money to finish her house which we are all really excited about.  We left feeling Bott spirit!!..... We were thankful and had so much gratitude in our hearts.  These are a couple of pictures we shot after the meeting was over. It was great to have all of the family there.  It does not happen very often so we were grateful to spend the time.  We had a nice dinner and the babies made a mess!  We were going to have a family testimony
meeting but Tom had to be to work.  I am so grateful for families and that they are forever.  Thank you grandma and grandpa for the love and legacy that you left.  We love you so much Beth and are grateful for all you do.

Gingers Baby Shower

This my wonderful sister in law Ginger!! She is married to Chris's brother Bill. She is having a little girl in November and they are going to name her Paisley Jo! She is super cute and we are very excited for her.
Courtney did a wonderful job on her diaper cake
The Price Girls!
Our mother in law Beth, Courtney and myself threw the shower for her.
We had so much fun! The first thing we did is gave advise and Ginger had to guess who the advice came from. Our next game was called Diaper Mania. Each team had 4 rolls of toilet paper and had to make a diaper on someone in their group. Ginger got to choose the best one and she chose Aunt Pat's team because she said it was the thickest! The third thing we did was not really a game, we blindfolded Ginger and made her dress a baby doll in an out-fit! She did awesome with no mistakes. She is going to be a great MOM!!! We love you Ginger.

Sick Babies

Yes, my 2 babies have been very sick. Both with throwing up and diarrhea! Of course Trey is still smiling because he smiles about everything every when he is not feeling well. I have been coverd in vomit twice, changed many blow-out diarrhea's, and had some long sleepless nights. Before I was a Mom I would have been really grossed out about all of this but the times have changed and it did not bother me at all and I could honestly tell you its because I love him so much. As for Chris he did a lot of resting yet still managed to get all his studying in. I made him malto-meal in bed one morning because that is really all he could keep down. Chris began to feel better after a couple of days but Trey didn't. We took him to the doctor and he had lost 3 lbs....I know so sad. I knew he had lost some because he would not take any solids and he would vomit up a lot of his milk. Chris did a lot of muscle testing and we gave him some homeopathic which helped a ton. I am so grateful for a husband that has the intuition and ability to help heal Trey. He also gave Trey a blessing which was very sweet and special. We have been keeping him hydrated with peda-lite and juice. He has started to feel better these last 2 days so I'm hoping its over. Being a Mommy is wonderful but very challenging at times. I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father who is mindful of us!

Accident

POOR "ELLE" (that is what we call our car)
Its going to cost so much money
Close up

Yes I got into an accident!! It was so scary!!! Chris was not with me but I had Trey. I was dring north bound and I went through the light at center when it was still yellow but barley turning red. The other vehical was headed south but in the left turning lane about to turn onto center street. As I passed through the light......SLAM!!...right into the side where Trey was stitting on. I am lucky I speeded up because if I didn't it would have been a head on collison and I probably would have been severley hurt! Better me then Trey, but luckily he was just fine. The truck slammed in to us pretty hard knocking his car seat base side-ways. I was so paniced after the hit....Treyson was screaming so I hurried and pulled over to make sure he was ok. I could not stop crying when I saw that my son was o.k.! I got on the phone to Chris right away (thank goodness for cell phones) but he really could not understand me becuase I was so shook up, he just asked where I was and came to our nervous rescue! Meanwhile a very nice women care over to help me and was already on the phone to the police and ambulence. I assured her that every that was ok. I did not even catch her name because the cop pulled her aside as a witness. Thank goodness for such nice people! We are so grateful to our Father in Heaven that no one was hurt, yes it stinks when things go wrong with your car but we are thankful nonetheless. I have to say after everything as calming down I really felt bad for the other driver because he got a ticket...there was not much damage to his vehical but it always stinks when you get a ticket. Chris kept laughing at me because I kept apologizing....I just really felt bad about the whole thing, and yes I was wearing my seat-belt!

Some Thoughts on the Upcoming Election

Ok so after at first I was a little un-easy on my he picked her but after I heard her speech....I absolutely LOVE HER!  On thing I love is that she is just a mother, not a super-mom but a mother just like me and you!  She is for real....not fake!  They are a great match and the funny thing is is she has more experience then Obama!  You all know how I feel about Obama after all the letters I received from my friends serving over in Iraq and Afghanistan saying how dis-respectful he was to them and how they get more support from football cheerleaders then this person who claims he wants to be commander and chief (see my previous post)!  Don't get me wrong I think Obama is a nice man and a great father but my skin crawls when I think of him being the next President.  McCain well, he was never really my favorite but the more I learn about him the more I like him.  Like I said before, I care more about this election then I ever did before and its because I want a great President for not only my country but my family too!  I have dug deeper to find out more about the candidates ...what true and whats not!  Of course the media portrays what you want to see not what really is happening!  As all of you know Chris served in the Military for almost 10 years and my brother Kody served faithfully for 5 years, being a wife and sister of great men who served their country.....I want someone like that in the White House.  As a wife that is married to a man who is devoted to his country I have learned so much and have taken this election to heart.  Before I met him I could care less but he has taught and allowed me to see a different light to the election.  My husband has said this is one of the most scariest elections because it makes him sick to even think about Obama in the white house and there is only a fifty fifty chance!  In the past elections it was not really that bad if the person won that he did not like because he saw some good in them, but this election he see no good in the Obama's Campaingn.  So much is at stake people.  I challenge all of you to seek out the candidates and know who you are voting for!!  I am not trying to be rude or offend anyone....I just thought I would share our feelings.  Please comment and tell me what you think!!!

Update!

**The next couple of blogs
are what has been going
on in the Price family
the past 3 weeks!!
There will be more to come!!**

Moving Stinks!

We officially moved!!!
We are not quite settled yet but we love our new place. We live in Aspen Court, its is actually just a couple of blocks down from where we used to live. We live in a 3 bedroom town-home and we love our manager! I have to publicly thank our wonderful ward for helping us. They are so awesome! I also need to thank my wonderful brothers for towing the stuff home for us!

This is called chaos!!!!!!!

Ok so its been such a long three weeks..................
Moving is not fun at all! Chris cut his head wide open while lifting up the couch to fit into the room...he hit the light fixture and down came the glass and sliced him.

He would not go to the doctor he just wrapped a towel around his head and went back to work. He made me super glue it later....love my husband...what a trooper! Jax was not happy at all....he was running all around all nervous wondering what was going on.....poor Jax. Trey was crawling around naked and would not let me put his diaper on and plus I had Audrey!! What a day!! I just had to stop and breath a couple of times....haha! Anyways I am glad we are getting things organized and settling in to our new home!

New Babysitting Job

This is Miss Audrey Druce! The Druce's are our best friends. Erin and I have been friends since highshool....we cheered together and then stayed the best of friends through college. Erin has one more semester of Student Teaching and then she will be a teacher and her husband is in school too so she asked if I would watch her during the day. I have her for about 5 hours each day Monday through Friday. She is about 4 months older then Trey and is a pretty easy baby. It crazy because she weighs less then Trey...haha! I love this little girl like she was my own, I have watched her grow from a newborn to a 1 year old and I cant believe how time flys!

To let you in on a secret...They are really boyfriend and girlfriend! They play together and Trey is starting to say some of the words she does and he wants to walk like her too.....
What adorable Children!
Don't get me wrong....2 kids is not that easy but its fun and I think its prepping me for the next (not that it is anytime soon). I am glad we can help out our wonderful friends.

Cousins Birthday

It was Layna's 1st birthday! I cant believe its been a year. She is so cute! It was fun to see the babies get messy! We celebrated her birthday with dinner and cake then the next weekend Tom and Court help a family and friends birthday party. It was lots of fun and great to visit with family!
