Here we go!!!

Tomorrow we board our Cruise to the Caribbean!! We had a change in plans a while back where one of the cruises engines blew up and that boat happened to be our ship so now we are porting out of Ft. Lauderdale FL instead of Long Beach CA. This has made things very stressful and sum what annoying but we all worked through it and we are still going which is awesome. We are meeting the Cutler family tomorrow to board the ship. This change in plans actually worked out better for us because now instead of flying we get to drive which saves us money and on top of that it means we get to spend more time with my Family here in FL.  It actually worked out to be some what of a blessing for us. We are super excited to go and are in so need of this vay-cay!! I am happy to report that I hit most of my goals for the cruise. I have been working out so hard and my jeans literally fall off of me. I can pull them on and off with out even undoing them! My size 0 pants are way loose on me now too it's crazy.  This is exciting yet I became a bit troubled when I knew we did not have money to buy me new clothes..LOL! Oh well I am happy with what I accomplished and I how feel.  I love working out.  I am addicted to lifting weights, I truly find gratification in lifting a dumbbell! A dumbbell is my new psychiatrist..LOL! I would show pictures but I am not sure how I feel about displaying them to everyone so instead you can look at pictures of my boys enjoying my Protein Kale berry Shake that I make all the time. They love it and the great thing is that they don't even know that it is extremely good for them;) It is so funny because instead of having milk mustaches like most kids have they have protein shake mustaches!
As I write this I am sitting at my families in Milton. I have missed them so much so I am so glad we get to spend half this holiday with them.  Anyways, the night before we left we got a package in the mail by Grandma Price (Beth). It was the book "The Night before Christmas" and it had her voice recorded reading it.  It was seriously so cute and the boys just loved it. This book made all of us feel that we got to spend a little of the holiday with her.  Thank you G-ma Price, we love and miss you!
The road trip thus far has been pretty good.
The boys have actually done well, minus a couple normal tantrums from being in their car seats too long!
A couple of times I have looked back and Treyson and Porter were just holding hands. It is seriously such an "AWE" moment.
I am so glad they can entertain each other once in a while.
Even Jax has been a trooper. He will be staying with my grandparents while we go on the cruise and he is really excited about that. My grandma (the dog lover) spoils him rotten.
Our Car is pretty packed with all the luggage, us, 2 babies, a dog, food, ect. We like road trippin for the most part but the last stretch of a 16 hour ride sometimes has us saying "Are we there yet?" LOL.
Tomorrow we make are journey to Ft. Lauderdale bright and early.  We have another 10 hours ahead of us still....blah, yet hooray for some vacation! Caribbean for a week? Ill take that! If you do not hear from me for a while.... Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone. I hope even if we are "Crusin" that we will still remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas which is CHRIST our Savior, our Redeemer, the one who makes this season so PERFECT!
Until, we come back..
Caribbean here we come!

Fa la la la la la la la la....

"Ti's the season to be JOLLY!"
It's Christmas Party time!
Before we get to all the good ole partying I just want to say I love this time of year.  It does not really feel like Christmas since we are going on the cruise in all and we did not feel nor have time to really put up any decorations.  I begged Chris to at least put up a little but he was being a scrooge about it all.  He said since we would be gone and not be back until after the Holiday that there as no point. That's a guy for thinking logical right? Besides that all the decorations got moved to the basement last year because Trey dumped the tree over about 7 times...LOL! Anyway, even though we have nothing to show for it we defiantly have the Christmas Spirit.  After listening to the Christmas Devotional by our Church I did not feel so bad about not dressing up my house! I have just been thinking about the True meaning of Christmas so I don't bum myself out about it. The Savior is what I have been focusing on and how divine this season is because of him. I have been focusing on giving so I made my neighbors some holiday cupcakes.  I also participated in the 12 days of Christmas for a family in our ward and am also giving a meal to a less fortunate family tonight. My heart has been full this Christmas Season for sure!
 Now to all the Partaays...
Our ward Christmas party was very unique.  They did a "Night in Bethlehem" and mimicked how it would be back in the times of Jesus. We each got a letter from "Caesar Augustus, we had a "light" supper, and we even were "taxed!" We each got a little pouch of gold to buy our food and pay our taxes. If we did not obey the "laws" then we were sentence to a holiday season with out the TRUE meaning of Christmas! It was seriously such a cool theme!
We got to dress up in Robes.
They did a little short Christmas program of the life of Jesus which was really awesome. We love our ward family so much!!
Our Relief Society Christmas Party turned out wonderful and the food was amazing! My visiting teacher Cendy Alford was dressed up very festive so I had to snap a picture with her! I have not gone to relief society in so long so it was nice to be there and mingle with the gals I never get to see since I am in YW.
Our YW Christmas Party was so much fun. Kelsey made these yummy oreo balls that I could not stop eating, they seriously were so delicious! We did a Christmas craft and played Yankee swap or Dirty Santa is what I like to call it. It was a good game and I am glad we could still all be friends afterwards..LOL! I love my girls.
ICAA Christmas Dinner
One word...DELECTABLE!
Biaggi's is one of the Best Restaurants in the Quad Cities, we love it.  I was so full but they kept bringing us so much food that it was hard to resist!
Chris and I were running late so we got a table all to ourselves.  We did not mind because it was like a mini date night for us. I love spending one on one time with him and actually having a deep conversation. He also looked very handsome that night:)
Rugby Christmas Party...
This was our second Rugby Christmas Party and last year we went very under dressed so this year we got to get all gussied up! I borrowed a semi-formal from one of the YW and I was so thankful because otherwise I would have been under dressed again!
The party was Crazy fun.  Santa even showed up and shook his booty on the dance floor!
We were just sipping on our water sup of course while everyone else was drinking beer:)
We even shook out tails on the dance floor a little too.  We have not been dancing in such a long time but we still had our swagger and even got comments on how well we dance together!
I just love nights with my Rugger without any kids.
I am so proud of my Champ. I know I have said this before but its so awesome how he gets to play a sport he loves while studying something he has a passion for.  Two of the things he loves the most...Rugby and Chiropractic. Thanks honey for an amazing fun night!
Last but not least we were invited to a appetizer Christmas Party at the Thompson's. I made my famous Spinach Dip that Chris can not resist and we even made our friends take the rest of it home so we would not eat so much of it..LOL! Porter pretty much ate everything in sight and Trey only wanted to eat the Christmas colored chocolates...go figure!
The Thompson's have so many fun toys. Trey was busy playing with all their balls. He loves any kind of ball to throw it in the air and play catch with.
Our friend Mark Frogley was entertaining Trey with spinning a pillow on his finger.  Trey thought it was the coolest thing ever...LOL!
Porter did not care about the toys so much.  His mission was for going around and touching all the Christmas decorations he was not supposed to..LOL!
He did find this Winnie the pooh stuffed animal that he would not put down though.  It was cute because he kept giving it hugs and kisses.
Both of the boys LOVED their tree and it was hard to keep them  from touching or taking things off of the tree.  They both kept pointing and saying, "oooo!" I can not wait until they understand what Christmas is all about.  I love this Holiday!
We wanted to get a Family pic in front of their Tree since we did not have one up.  The boys just kept wanting to look at the Tree and not the camera. We finally got them to look for a second though;)
Only 10 days until Christmas...WOW!
The countdown is on.
"What is a Christmas Gram? I want one!"
Fa la la la la la la la la...
LOL, Merry Christmas Folks!

Treyson turns 3!

Our Treyson turned 3 years old yesterday!!
It is pretty hard to even believe he is 3 years old.
It seems like just yesterday I was looking into those great big newborn eyes and saying, "Wow, Am I really this little angels mother? How could I be so blessed?  This 3 years also marks the first time I became a mother. I remember feeling very overwhelmed yet I remember feeling very comforted over Christmas time when I thought of Mary and baby Jesus knowing that she probably felt the same way I did or even more so. Let just say he was not the easiest baby but he was still perfect in every way. I finally understood what it meant when people say the LOVE of a mother is like no other. In these 3 short years he has brought me such great joy!
For Trey's bday party we did a Dragon theme poetically the one from "How to train your Dragon." Trey is obsessed with "Toothless" the Night Fury dragon off of that movie. I made his invites online and they turned out really cute!
I got a little creative with baking cupcakes, everyone knows I am not much of a baker but I really enjoyed doing this. I made a dragon out of cupcakes and tried to make it look like the Night Fury dragon as much as possible.  I am not sure I pulled it off but it still looked like a dragon.  In the movie toothless blows blue fire, has specific wings, horns, and only on wing in the back.  I tried to replicate him as much as possible. I was pretty happy with it even though I think if I were to do it again I wold do the eyes a little different.  They did not turn out quite like I wanted.  All in all I was pretty proud of it!
I have to give some credit to Chris because he helped with some of it as well.
I think this might become on of my new past times.  I secretly like making cupcakes!:)
When Treyson saw it all done for the first time he loved it! His happiness then turned into sadness though when I told him he could not eat it until later on when his birthday started.
 Here's to our Birthday Boy!!!
We kept the party pretty simple.  We just watch the movie "How to train your Dragon," and ate some Pizza.
Then we sang happy birthday and let Trey blow out his 3 candles.  It took him a few times but he finally  blew them all out.
 Yay, now he is 3!
All the boys loved the cupcakes and Trey especially loved the frosting of course!
We attempted a family photo during all the fun. Took us a couple shots but we finally got a good one...LOL!
We sure do love our Big 3 year old!!
Maybe you are wondering what Port was up to during all this partying?? Well for the most part he was just attached to my hip and eating something of some sort always.
He was getting really tired and I finally got him to take a little nap.  When he woke up he went right to his toy airplane and wanted to play with it. It was really cute!
Anyways back to the party...after the cake we opened presents...YAY! The fun part right?
Trey was so excited about all his presents! Thanks everyone and thanks to all the grand p's that mailed them too!
Trey needed help with most of his presents and I could not open them fast enough for him...LOL! This is seriously such a fun age to do birthday parties, to see their excitement about everything....love it!
His most prized present was "toothless" the night fury dragon action figure.
He was overly excited about this toy and he would not even put it down for second. It's like his little baby.  He takes care of it like its his very own dragon.  Such a good little Dragon trainer:)
He even wanted to go to sleep with it but we know if that happened he will just stay up and play with it all night so we told him to put "toothless" to bed first and then he could go night night.  He puts him to bed each night and says, Goodbye Dragon, see ya, night night, muah!" LOL!
Trey kept going around saying, "I am 3 years old," or he would ask me, "Am I 3 years old?" I would also ask him, "How are are you?" and he would reply, "3 years old!" I did not get very good on video but it was sure really cute.
He is just the coolest little boy.  I even got a comment the other day in the mall about him and this guy said, "when I have kids I hope my little boy is just like him," referring to Treyson. He is so rambunctious and full of energy.  There is never a dull moments with his child, he is my partner in crime. I am so thankful he is my son and I love him so dearly. Happy 3 years my handsome stud!
