Christmas Letter 2012

We have a 5 year old!!!

 Treyson requested a Christmas party since he is so excited about the season. He said he wanted a Santa cake so I went and bought one. Unfortunately, when leaving the store we went on a little "trip" and the Santa cake did not make it out ok. LOL! Go figure right. 

 So to made up for that we then bought some Christmas cupcakes (I would of just made my own but with working and last minuet there was no time)

We also got him a great big snowman cookie to make up for the shattered Santa cake. 

We made our way to CFA once again for the party. My kids love that place and its a great place to have a bday party since its FREE! You can even bring in your own stuff. Treyson was super exicted! 

Another mishap for his birthday was everyone cancelled for his party. Literally I got like 6 calls or text from parents saying they could not make it. I felt so bad because Treyson kept asking when all his friends were going to show up. Being how friendly Trey is he asked some other kids eating there if they wanted join him for his b-day party! He was very excited to let everyone know that he was turning 5! He was happy and that was all that mattered to me. 

Blowing out the candles is always a thrill for him. He kept saying how cool he thought "fire" is...LOL!

 CFA had the cow come our for his party and 1 of his friends did end up coming to his party. Little Maia, she is so fun and cute. They were really excited about their balloons! 

 Some one was really partied out! Kreed fell asleep on Daddy's lap. He must of been so tried because he usually never does this. Sweet boy, so cute!

 We went home he got to open of his gift. We got him a race car wooden race track which he was so excited to play with. 

Happy Happy birthday Treyson! Smashed cake and a small party but we still ended up making it a special Day for our big boy! 

Treyson is such a bright little boy. He has grown up and matured so much and I just love this age. Our conversations are so entertaining! He cracks me up! He loves school and they always tell me how friendly he is to ever single person. Yes he is wild and such a boy but he has a soft sweet side too. He is very particular about everything--the way things are placed, food, ect. We have our moments but for the most part Treyson a good little boy. We love him so much and I can't believe he is 5! He loves anything that involves superheros, cars, dinosaurs, ect. He is all boy. He is really into Ninja turtles right now. He is just FUN and its amazing to watch his little personality develop into this wonderful little boy. We are so blessed to have him in our family. Love you so much Treyson-Bear, you crazy crazy boy!

Christmas Party Hop!!

Zumba Christmas Party

A bunch of instructors and I did a Zumba Christmas party for one of the colleges here in Davenport. St. Ambrose is a huge school and put on a Zumba Christmas party each year and luckily this year I was invited to attend and to instruct. 

I was excited to dress up Christmas style like. I went as Rudolf! I have had a the antlers for years and with a little red lipstick the nose was easy! Viola! Cute Christmas getup in minuets!

Brianna is one of my young Zumba friends, she goes to St. Ambrose and tagged me along to this event. She is also an instructor and so adorable! 

It was such an awesome class and we were all a HOT MESS afterwards! 

Merry Christmas Zumba Peeps!! It was a blast! 

Mini "mock" Christmas Party

When the boys saw me getting ready for the Zumba party they were wanted to go and dress up so bad so I promised them when I got home that we could do a little dressing up and have a mini party here. Yes they are a little excited for Christmas! They all wanted red noses like Mom and we got our Christmas hats out and all. We sang some fun Christmas songs and did a little photo opt. Simple, sweet, and fun. Having little ones bring the magic of Christmas back and makes all the all the little things so much fun!

Ward Christmas Party

We had our ward Christmas party the other night and the boys were so excited since they knew Santa would be there. Our bishop played Santa and played a good one at that. 

Treyson was overly excited and was happy to tell him all the things he wanted for Christmas! 

Porter sat graciously on Santa lap too. He was really cute because when Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas he responded, "Jesus!" So sweet. 

Kreed was NOT a fan of Santa at all!! He screamed and cried!

We sang many Christmas carols and Treyson had to be front and center during all the songs. Little performer for sure! 

The Primary put on a little Jesus story for us and sang various songs about the Savior. It was really cute and again Treyson did awesome!

'Tis the Season!

The Merry Month has begun!

The stockings are hung...

 My heritage wreath I hang every year is up (courtesy of the Late Grandma Christensen.) Oh how I miss her especially around this time of year! 

The Tree is brightening up our home! We only did one tree this year since we will be leaving for Christmas break. We only got half of our decorations out this year too. Sweet and simple. It turned out perfect and the boys love Christmas...that's all they talk about! 

Traditional Christmas story time at night as begun! 

 Beautiful Nativity scenes all over! I love them. The one at Trey's school is so amazing! Treyson tells me about baby Jesus all the time and is learning about the True Meaning of Christmas. 

Speaking of babies and something to be merry about.... Casey and Kimber has their perfect little baby BOY!

Congrats guys! 

 Treyson had his school Christmas program so we got him all dressed up. He looked so handsome! 

We sure do love this boy! 

We were so proud. Trey did an awesome job. He stayed in line, sang all the songs--he actually was really into it!  He was in the very front so it was easy to get photos and video of him. He loves putting his hands in his pockets..LOL! 

All the pre-school kids were so cute! 

At the beginning they give you time to take pictures of your child and it was so funny when Treyson saw all the cameras flashing he started posing for all of them...LOL! It was like he thought he was famous or something--waving and flexing...LOL! He even bowed at the very end of the program. Guess he loves being in the spotlight!  Gee I love this kid! 

 After the program we took a couple shots by the trees. Can you say STUD?
