Easter Fun

We started off Easter at Cody and Camille's with decorating Easter eggs, Trey just wanted to throw the eggs so his dad read him a book to keep him occupied.  In the past the tradition has always been to go up to the hill in Tremonton, but with the weather we moved the Cutler Easter to Wellsville at Tyler and Teri's.  We still did all of our same things except rolling the eggs down the hill, hence there was no hill!  Grandma always tries to make it special for us each year.  We love her yummy hot dogs, potato salad, beans, and of course the smores! It was hilarious because every one's booty kept ending up wet from the patio seats so we had some good laughs. This year Trey got to hunt eggs with the little kids and got 5 whole dollars.  The parents did a good job on hiding our eggs, Chris's was in the chip bag and mine was in the sage brush.  Finally it was time to hunt for the GOLDEN EGG and this year there was two, Kimber and Natalie ended up being the champions.  After that we celebrated Grandma's birthday and then we got our family Easter baskets, which I always love the bubble gum.  It's always great to see everyone and to keep the traditions going each year.

 

Price Easter

On Sunday we went to Tom and Courtney's for the Price side Easter.  We had some dessert and then let the kids look for their eggs.  Trey was so excited he kept saying, "wow" "wow!" Him and Layna were so cute together they were making each other laugh, giving hugs and kisses, and playing chase.  They pretty much had a mouth full of candy the whole night. 

Trey and Layna are only 4 months apart.  They would talk to each other in gibberish like they were having a real conversation which they probably were.
Trey wanted to hold all of his eggs he did not want to put them in his Easter basket.  He would ask me, "mom ball?"  I would say..."no egg!" Then he would smile and say, "eeee!"
Sometimes I think children make your little kid side come out, we were just as excited when he found each of his eggs.  He kept wanted just to chuck them then run after it, it was hilarious!
I think trey understood and enjoyed this egg hunt more because he was not as tired.  Our little guy is so much fun to watch as he learns and grows each day.
Easter was defiantly memorable this year and it was extra special because we will not be here the following year.  Next year we will be half way across the country and have to start our own traditions.  Thanks to both Grandma's for making it fun for us and the little ones.  Hope everyone else had a wonderful Easter!
