Fall Leaves

Fall is such a beautiful time of year here in Davenport. We live in a neighborhood with lots of trees which makes for a stunning scenery in the fall.  I especially love our tree in our front yard, it gorgeous!  The colors of red and orange radiate from it and it is amazing.

We play in the front yard sometimes and the Kids love the leaves. Porter likes to pick up each one and show it to me.

Trey likes to lay and roll around in them.

He also like to run on top of them because he likes the sound of the leaves crunching.

Lots of Trees = Lots of raking.  It seems in the fall Chris is always raking leaves.

The boys love to go out and play in all the leave piles when Dad is working. They literally swim in the leaves!

Trey likes to just sit in the leaves and hide sticks in the piles then try and find them again. 

He lays down in them too and just hangs out.  It's too cute and makes for great pictures.

Porter on the other hand likes to crawl and walk through the piles of leaves.

He likes the sound of the leaves as well and will sit for a minuet and just play in them.

Trey got out his little rake after a while and started copying his Dad.  Like father like son they always say right?:)

Porter eventually found his favorite which are the wood chips in the backyard.  He likes to pick them up and throw them and sometimes even put them in his mouth (which is a no no).

The weather has been pretty decent for November so we have been going outside to the parks as much as we can.  The leaves are falling all over which make it fun for the boys to play in too.

Of course you will find them wrestling...

 This particular day Porter was picking up the biggest stick he could find and making funny noises.  I guess he thought it was pretty cool he had a big stick!

 He as crawling up and down the hills and his poor nose was running like crazy.  Cute little snot nose!

 Trey loves any kind of stick as well.  He likes to play pretend with them like it's a sword or he will pick up 2 and pretend they are toys or something fun.  

  He will stare up at the sky point out animals in the clouds.  This kids imagination is incredible.

Who would think that Fall Leaves could be so fun.  YAY for Leaves, leaves and more leaves.  We can not get enough of them.  I love this time of year!
