*Little Frosty Boys*

My boys have been really into Frosty the Snowman lately. They love the movie, and that the snowman comes to life. They have been saying how they want to dress up like real Snowmen, and then I saw something on pinterest that inspired me.

Check out all this cute Frostiness!

 

Treyson, was pretty cooperative.

Kreed, well, he was not a fan of the whole thing...LOL!

Porter the snowman

Kreed the snowman knew

So he said
"Let's run and
we'll have some fun

with a broomstick in his hand

He led them down the streets of town
right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
he heard him holler "Stop!"
For Kreed the snow man
had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye saying
"Don't you cry
I'll be back again some day

We had so much fun with the shoot even though our boys were done after like 20 minuets...LOL! We got some pretty good ones.

A Merry Holiday {Part 1}

This Christmas season has been such a great one for us.

We got a real tree this year. It was so fun to go and pick one, tie it on our car and drive home. The boys were so excited. 

Our tree is so massive. The pictures do not due justice for how big it really is. We had to move furniture around for it just to fit! Our house smells amazing, the wonderful aroma of pine makes it so worth having a real tree. Not sure if we will do it every year, but it been a fun adventure. You should of saw us trying to get in our house - LOL, It was fun! 

Our course we had fun decorating the tree. I actually got to use some of Grandma Christensen's ornaments on this tree since it was so big. I sure miss her, especially telling her Christmas stories. Anyway, The boys had blast getting ready for Christmas and decorating the tree. They had to wear their Christmas pj's, hats, and they are already filling our house with their little voices singing Christmas songs! Christmas is so much fun with these little people!

Hung the Mistletoe of course! More reason to give all the people I love kisses all the time! 

Mr. Elf joined our family this year. I scored him pretty cheap at Costco. We named him Jolly. Our elf is a service and works for Santa and Jesus. He teaches us the True meaning of Christmas, and is also silly. He's not naughty but nice. He sends good notes from santa on what the boys should be doing and we find him reading the Jesus stories, listening to Christmas music, drinking syrup and playing hide and seek. It's pretty fun and the kids find him pretty amusing. I love building strong Christmas memories with my children, all while teaching them what Christmas really means.  

We have had snow to play in finally!! 

Beautiful frost fronts and fog have come in lately.

 Santa's BOYS! 

We went and saw the Cadger lights show. It was seriously so awesome. The boys wanted to do it again. You pay 10 bucks per car load and it's about a 30 min light show. You tune into a certain radio station and just listen and watch. Really amazingly cool!

We took a live walk through Bethlehem last weekend. One of Christian's patients was helping with the program this year, so they invited us to to come. It was put on by the Evangelist Christian Church. The coolest thing is they had a real camel there at the beginning of the program. You could feed him if you wanted. The boys thought he was pretty cool.  

The living Nativity and our journey to see the baby Jesus was quite moving. It took us through the everything from the soldiers tying to chase us out of the city, to the prophets that told us about the ancient scripture that a Savior would come, to having to pay our taxes to king Harold and the angel that foretold of the his coming. We saw the kings, wise-men and the star. The setting was captured exactly how Bethlehem would have been in times of old. Really neat.   

Our last stop was to see the Christ child. It was seriously absolutely uplifting. It seemed so real because it was. Our boys were even saying, "Can I hold him!" They learned so much going through the live motions of Christ's birth, it was a great teaching opportunity. Our hearts were so full when we left. Yes, it was cold, but the warmth of the spirit we felt made it all worth it. What a blessing it was to partake of such a great program. Best thing too, it was FREE.  

That about sums up this Christmas season so far. We travel to Utah and Wyoming this weekend to see family. We are stoked! The only thing left to do now is our family service project. We have done Christmas jars and blessings bags - so we are trying to pray and see what we can do this year.
