End of May

Were are wrapping up May and preparing for our trip to Denver for the final 4 and summer break. We had our ward Memorial day picnic yesterday and it was so HOT!! The boys had a blast and Kreed was such a good baby. Needless to say by the end the older boys were covered in sweat and sand, and Kreed was zonked out!
Here are some highlights from the Price House in May...
Trey and Port have been playing super heroes a lot. They use my nursing cover and bibs has their super hero capes...LOL!
These two have grown up so much, funny how when you bring a new baby home that your older kids grow up right before your eyes...
Porter has been randomly falling asleep on the floor. This is probably due to him waking us up at 530 am every morning...LOL! He refuses to sleep in his bed for some reason now and so when he falls asleep like this I just transport him to his bed. If this kids has his "kiki" he can fall asleep anywhere!
Treyson had his very first dental cleaning this month. In the previous years he has really never even let the dentist go near his teeth so this was a surprise first. He was so excited when I told him we were going to the dentist! He let them do the cleaning, exams, act. He was such a good boy. He was also so thrilled to get his tooth brush after. Treyson was then so proud so show everyone his clean teeth and that had no "cavity bugs!" LOL! I honestly was really proud of him!
Kreed and I have been having late night mama rock dance parties in the wee hours of the night. Breast milk has been the drink of the night which he enjoys. Ive been one tired mama but at least he makes great company!
We have ad extremely nice whether out so the older boys have spent most their time out there. One particular day I went to check on them and they had taken off their clothes and were playing int he dirt---go figure. This happens often. Apparently Porter loves to fill his diaper with dirt and Treyson like to eat it. Such BOYS!!
Oh and our Mr. Kreed is such a ham! He is just so sweet and I love the fact that he is getting a double chin!
We can not forget our giggle-tickle sessions with the older boys, they are so fun! Can't wait until Kreed can join us.
Oh yes and Kreed just gave us a full on smile this month! WOW, have we been waiting for that. Totally a smile to melt your heart.
That's about wraps up May in our house. We love our boys and our family. Now we are off too Denver in a couple days for our first trip cross country with 3 kids. Then on to summer vay-cay that will be spent in Wyoming and Utah. Life is good. Happy May to everyone!

Kreed {2 months}

Yes can you believe it our miracle boy is 2 months old already! WOW, time has really just flown by. He has changed so much over the past 2 months. They say I have to go off his gestational age which really would mean he is only a month old but he is catching up fast. He is finally fitting into newborn clothes and has chunked out all the saggy skin of his. He is weighing in at 8 lbs 5 oz now which is awesome since he only weight 5 even at birth. Still little but we are getting there! He really is such a joy and has such a sweet spirit about him. He has been giving us little grins not full on smiles but if we catch him at the right moment he will. Here is a glimpse of Kreed at 2 months...
We not sure who he looks like. We feel he favors Treyson more and he has definitely got his Daddy's eyes. I love his flawless skin and little man look he has. He is just precious!
He lost all of his hair on what little he had but now it growing back ever so slowly. We are not used to a baby with quite so little hair but he sure makes bald look cute! We love his checks and little button nose. If there is one thing certain it is that Christian and I know how to make some darn handsome boys--were rather good at it! ***wink***
Kreed's temperament is pretty chill. He is a good baby. We have had little crying spells which is normal but he does not cry near as much as either of his brothers did. He is pretty happy during the day and loves to lay and look around. He is very content on his back and even knows how to roll from his tummy to back already. He does love to be held and have snuggle time but it makes life easier on us when he can just lye there and be content. He does think its fun to be carried around int he mobe wrap as well.  The only this I wish is if he would take a pacifier better. I know I shouldn't care that much but it would just make my life so much easier especially when I am trying to tend to my other boys and trying consoling him at the same time. He will only suck on it under his rules which is like next to never!...LOL!
He sure does love bath time. He is so small I can bathe him in the pedestal sink we have in the bathroom. He has never cried or anything taking a bath, he just loves it!

He likes to be swaddles really tight, I mean tight. This little boy is very strong so if he is not wrapped up tight then he gets out easy. None of my other boys could get out until they were 4 months so he really is a strong boy already! He is a pretty good sleeper, I won't complain. Yes we have had our "no good terrible awful bad nights" but for the most part he dose rather well. He usually has his fussy time at night but once we get him asleep we will stay asleep for 4-5 hours--sometimes he has even given us 6. When he does wake up though he does not go right back to sleep, never has. So therefore we usually party together around 3-5 in the am. I hope he grows out of that.  He is pretty good with his naps too. He really just loves to sleep and I let him.
Kreed really loves to be in his element. When I take him anywhere or change up our routine is when we have our bad days and sometimes nights. He is not too fond of the car seat--still! W are working on it! He likes it at home but he is getting much better.
Here our little boy is satisfied after his "lunch." This boy can eat! He eats way more then Porter and Treyson ever did. He does however spit up a lot more too. Good thing my milk supply can keep up with his appetite because he really does love to eat! We are still nursing on the shield and will be for a while which is ok, he clearly is getting plenty! I honestly can not believe how much he eats though and where he puts it since is still so little. He eats for a very long time, I think his shortest feed was about a 20 min if that. He usually is feeding away for about 30-45 min. It gets rather exhausting but that is ok, I am just glad he getting the good stuff!
Daddy chest is his favorite place to fall asleep. Since Kreed is up late hours at least his Daddy gets to spend more time with him. Christian is so good with him and I so appreciate his help when he can. There is nothing like a Father and sons bond and love. It melts my heart.
There is also something to be said for a Mother and son's love. I adore this new little man of ours. Every time he looks at me with those great big eyes I go into blubbering Mommy mode...LOL! He honestly was worth everything I went through. Love you so much Kreedster!

He fits so perfectly in our family and we just feel so blessed to have him. He is our miracle boy an we are remind everyday of that when he wakes up in the morning (especially before sunrise). He is growing up fast--too fast! Happy 2 months buddy. We love you!

** Final 4**

Once again the Palmer Rugby team made it to the Final 4 Nationals. This is their third year in a row going which is an accomplishment. I would like to think it is because my Husband is on the team...*wink*! They are a good team-- they practice and play hard. Being apart of this club has been such a blessing to our family and Christian. He is on scholarship which helps with our student loans. He also get to play the game he loves while going to school for something he has a deep passion for--Chiropractic.
They played in the quarterfinals  and beat the Chicago Lions 19 to 15. It was a close game and a victory since they lost to them the last time they played. This game put them in the final 4 once again which will be held in Denver. We are so excited! This will Christians last year getting to go the final 4 since we are done in Feb. of 2013. He will still play the fall season since he is on scholarship but won't be playing at nationals, so really this is a BIG DEAL! I could not be more proud of my Rugger!
We will make our journey to Denver at the end of the month in our little minivan with 3 kids...LOL! I am really excited to get away from Davenport for summer break. Chris will fly back after the final 4 is over with the team to finish up finals since his teachers will not let him take his finals early. I will go stay with family for a week until Christian returns. We are working things out so he can hitch a ride with some friends that are already going home this way for summer. We did not want to have to make that trip back and forth with 3 kids and with how gas prices are. Anyway, we are looking forward to a BIG WIN from the Dragons this year and hopefully make this year really memorable for Christian. We are also excited to spend some of our summer with family and friends. YAY!
GO PALMER DRAGONS!!
Good Luck Ruggers!
