Cutler Christmas

The Cutler Christmas this year was awesome. Christmas Eve was the big day for us, we had our big dinner which was YUMO and then we did our Christmas Program.  Chris and I played Mary and Joseph, Treyson played baby Jesus of course and Jax was our donkey!  We had Shepard's and Angels and some fabulous singers.  It was absolutely fun and we had lots of giggles since it was our first attempt on doing the Nativity Story yet we really felt the spirit when we all bore our testimony's of the Savior at the end.  As tradition we each got to open one gift and then have pie and ice cream.

Christmas morning was wonderful, we must have been "nice" because Santa was good to all of us.  Treyson got lots of fun things but the only thing he cared about was the orange in his stocking because he thought it was a ball....haha!  Who we should really thank this year is our sweet Grandma Christensen who passed away last year, we got to have some of her Christmas collection which meant more to us than anything.  We had french toast, sausage, and eggs for breakfast and washed it down with some peppermint hot coco.  The rest of the day we just enjoyed the family.  We can not believe Christmas has come and gone, the years seem to go by so quickly that we are grateful for the memories we get to make each year. We leave you with our favorite Christmas Scripture..."For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Looking Back.......

Grandma Price went home to her Heavenly Father yesterday morning. She was 80 years old. Just a couple of weeks ago she was placed in a nursing home and was doing great. She got really sick and just kept fading and fading after that. She held on until the very last minuet until her youngest son told her it was OK to go home, right after that she went. Oh how we miss her already, she was just the sweetest old lady. You could recognize her voice anywhere and cutest singing voice. She made the best rolls in town and you could not leave her house with out having a bowl of ice cream. We always knew we should go to Grandma's with an empty stomach. What a wonderful lady she was. She was so kind, never thinking of herself. Every time we saw her she would say, "is there anything I can do to help you," when she is the one who needed more of the help. She was stubborn but in a way that you just knew what she expected of you. She had a firm testimony of the Savior and his teachings. Chris had tears in his eyes when he thought of the reunion she must be having, oh how she has missed her son Russ, her great husband and we cant forget about her beloved grandson Danny. Her funeral will be Saturday up in Malad Idaho. Chris is honored that he was asked to speak in behalf of her. At this time you cant help but think about the Savior's plan and how it is the plan of happiness. This great plan binds families together forever and helps your broken heart heal. The Gospel is TRUE and the plan is real and we are thankful for it.

Price Family Christmas

We had such a blast with the Price's! We ate a yummy dinner. I made my famous sweet potato casserole and we had fun experimenting with the jello-cheesecake.  We played apples to apples the Adams Family! The highlight of the night was when Bill made us speak from our bottoms while playing the Adams Family....leave it to Bill to make you do some out of the ordinary. After games we opened presents and then we played dirty Santa.  The kiddos were fun to watch and made kept everything interesting.  We made many memories and had tons fun of laughs.
