Funny Story: Lol! This child of mine--Porter! All the other kids are running around playing and he finds dirt and decides to wear it! He's had literally the dirtiest nose! Guess that what happens when you sniff dirt and dump it all over yourself! Silly boy.
We did not get to make it for the Annual Cutler Easter Celebration since Christian had a full day of patients so we headed to the Easter Egg Festive in Middleton.
We had fun!
Bunnies, slides and bounce houses = blast for the kiddos!
We received the BEST Easter presents ever from a dear friend. We left all our outside toys back in Iowa and they brought these over to us Easter Eve! So very humbled that good friends would think of us in such a way and bless our family. SO BLESSED!!

Reflecting back on this year with Kreed has made my heart swell. We are so blessed to have this boy in our family. I remember my fear of losing him and just looking at him celebrating his first year just made me feel like such a proud Mama! Looking back of all the pictures of the bed rest,NICU and reading his birth story again brought me to tears. I am so humbled and blessed to be Kreed's MOM!
Our little miracle lucky charm SONshine turned ONE yesterday! I thank my Father in Heaven everyday for his sweet spirit and that hes here with us even though the odds were against us. He fits perfect in our family and so so so SOOOO CUTE!
He is a happy ONE year old! Not sure Ive met a happier kid. He has a contagious delightful spirit about him. Hes always smiling!
We celebrated his birthday pretty low key with a trip to cold stone where Kreed had his first taste of ice cream! YUM! The cold of the ice cream did not even bother him he loved it and had a messy face to prove it!

Birthday Celebration. Funds are pretty tight so we just did a simple mini cake and a candle. Nothing to fancy or extravagant just a simple first birthday, plus extra hugs and kisses! No gifts because this dude already has way too much toys and plenty of clothes! I think his brothers were more excited them he was about the cake...haha!
He is our fist child that ate his cake both my other boys either starred at it or just cried...LOL! Go Kreed!

3 weeks ago was one of the best moments of our lives. Christian Graduation from Palmer was incredible. Christian looked so handsome in his purple and black graduation outfit.
He was honored with the red, white and blue cord for recognition of service to our Country.
I snuck back and helped him get ready for his big moment! Yes the Moment we thought would never come and was now here! The big "G" day! GRADUATION!!!!
Graduation was in Vickie Anne Palmer Hall Lyceum Auditorium. It used to be the old Masonic Lodge but now is where graduation and Spizz nights are held. Our course was displayed the Palmer flag and also an American flag along with ever state and countries flag of the graduates.
Christians Mom flew in for his graduation. She barley made it. We had a huge storm the night before so her flight in was cancelled. Luckily she was able to get on the earliest flight and we went and picked her up that morning. We honestly thought she was going to miss it but she made it and we were so happy. I had our older boys be babysat at a good friends so we did not have to wrestle with them through the ceremony. Kreed was the only one that joined us and he did awesome!
The opening ceremony were on the bag pipes of course.
Here he comes and there is his name the Doctor of Chiropractic Degree roster!!!
Dr. Weinert Welcomed us and the Graduates!
And Doctor Anthony J. Ebel gave the commencement address. He is an awesome Chiropractor that focuses on pediatrics and has built a very successful practice. His speech was awesome and got me really fired up (everyone really). I know we chose the right profession. Chiropractic will change the world!!
The Valedictorian for the class of 131 was Alissa Grover. She is a convert and in the other ward. Really knowledgeable and really a true voice of Chiropractic especially for women. She specialized in pet Chiropractic and just an awesome gal. Her speech was amazing. She spoke about how the vigorous curriculum Chiropractors have to take. Its more then a doctor, dentist, or any other profession. Not too mention all the study time and the seminars they do on top of all that. She did something a little different then most speakers and she involved the graduates. She had them stand if the following applied to them...
If you studied Abroad while here at Palmer.
If you played a sport while here at Palmer.
If you were in a club of some sort while here at Palmer.
Christian stood for all of those.
The list went on and on but the one that she said that caught most peoples eyes was when she said...
Please stand if you had 1 or more children while here at Palmer. The only was that were standing really were all our LDS friends...LOL!
She spoke about how she tips her hat off to the people that were brave enough to have families and go through Palmer at the same time. Its hard work and yes it resinated with me because I felt it all and then some. Palmer is not easy on a family at all but its worth it, ever ounce of it! Its hard to explain the feelings I was feeling during the ceremony. I was tearing up with just happy tears! It was a fulfilling feeling of love, thankfulness, gratitude and greatness. It was emotional in a good way. I was just one proud wife and just so excited that WE DID IT--we were finally here and finally doing it! We made it! I did a couple sighs of complete relief because that is just how I felt, like a huge weight was taken off of us and replaced with pure happiness!!
Ok enough of my gloating babbles. Alissa also spoke about how the class of 131 was a different class. A class that challenged the teachers. A class that challenged the school to be more competitive and good. A class that Palmer would not forget since it was so extraordinary. All the teachers chucked at her remarks because they knew how true it was. I am so grateful my husband was apart of this movement. I remember him going in and challenging his professors on why he believed it was right or wrong or hearing about his classmates wanting to change things up to make Palmer better. This class was really the mantra of "leave something better then you found it!"
Now it was time for for the presentation of the candidates for The Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Christian was lucky enough to stand next to his very best friend Steve Pulous. Alphabetically they fall right next to each other which is pretty cool. The Pulous's have been our friends since day one so I thought it was pretty neat they got to do this side by side! With the pictures we got your could tell they were laughing and joking the whole time.
His name was called, "Christian Bott Price!"
Hallelujah! Seriously talk about one of the best achievements.

Seriously was the BEST feeling ever to just finally say were DONE!! Seriously we did a little happy dance together!
We were so proud of Our Daddy Doc. He earned it! It was finally official! I was married to a Doctor! He is ready to change the world with one word--CHIROPRACTIC!!
We did another photo opt with all the guys that were in the same class, in our ward, and who all became dear friends.

Kate, Paislee and Kreed. We were missing Maxdon which is Tess's baby. All born within a couple months of each other.
After that was over we rushed over to pick up the older boys. We tried to do some family photos but it was not really happening. The boys had already had a long day.

This framed shiny diploma is what Christian worked so hard for. Kind a crazy that is just a piece of paper with writing on it. It means so much more then that though. Pretty awesome feeling!
We had a little graduation get together that lasted all night. I think its because we did not really want to say goodbye for good. Some of these people we never know if we will ever see them again. The awesome thing is though we will be connected through the spirit of Chiropractic.

The Dastrups hosted this at their home. Gee we love this family and will truly miss them. They have 3 cute girls and we have 3 boys. We have truly come to love his family and wish them all the best in their Palmer journey!
